Quickshifter

Hi all,

 

I am about to purchase a new quickshifter for my 2004 motorcycle. 

 

Has anyone have it on the bike?

What are the problems?

 

Is it easy to install?

I had one on my 800F model 2015.

It worked fine but bought it that way, I never work on the bike myself, I ride .

Just a note on @Petrovski's reaction.
The 800F had a OEM Honda quickshifter, that does not say anything about the Healtech.

Klopt Ray maar het is wel een quickshifter en de vraag was .....

Hi, I've got a healtech quickshifter on my 98 vfr (and on my 03 fireblade) works excellent! Would definitely recommend it.

 

It's easy to install, and it has a simple guide that takes you through the steps you have to take to set it up right, haven't had any real problems.

Be sure you tighten the gear leaver sensor right, that's important and you have the get used to the bottom rpm range where it work's right. The most important thing is to stay on the gas when you use it, if youre coasting it won't go into gear sometimes and you can brake your gear box, but that's only if you don't use it the right way. As long as the engine is pulling its shifts really smooth, I can almost say even better than when I use the clutch
